Hillary guides non-experienced, beginner, and experienced creatives in the way of abstract expressionism, which is an art form centered on emotion, color, texture, and freeform techniques, inspired by the artist Jackson Pollock.

This workshop is intended for emotional expression and abstract creativity. It gives patients permission to let their inner creative color outside the lines and explore their emotions in a safe setting.

Important Details:

• All inquiries start with a free consultation via phone call to discuss and assure a shared vision before we talk pricing and dates.

• We use acrylic paints and canvases for all creative workshops. Please let me know if you are providing materials, this will adjust the cost per workshop.

• Each workshop is held for 2.5 hours minimum, and at the last 30 minutes, a mini Artist Talk is given by each participant if they so choose. An artist talk provides the opportunity to share what they created and why (this is the cherry on top of the cake).

Hillary Hany has spent over a decade in health and wellness environments. Before becoming a fulltime artist in 2025, she worked as an energy healer, care aid, and licensed massage therapist throughout CT, graduating from CCMT in 2015.

She has experience with group and one-on-one care with all ages and physical or mental limitations. As a caregiver Hillary specialized in emotional and physical healing by learning and educating clients about how emotional trauma is stored in the body.

In 2025, Hillary officially retired as an LMT due to health concerns. And adopted her love of art and helping others and created Hany Healing. Hillary’s goal is to grow as an artist and teach others how to use art as a form of personal expression and healing.

Art has always been a core part of Hillary’s personal life, but it became essential to her own healing after losing her partner tragically to an overdose in May 2023. Her experience with grief, trauma, and art has transformed her purpose from a physical caregiver to an artistic caregiver. She openly expresses life’s harder lessons to build community, inspiration, and creativity because she feels it is essential to living life to its fullest.
